Learn how to make cottage cheese using vinegar,or lemon juice.
INGREDIENTS
- Milk 1 litre
- Vinegar or Lemon juice 1 tsp
METHOD 1 : Use Vinegar
STEP 1. Heat the Milk : Place the MILK in a saucepan and put it on the stove and let the milk heat to 120 degrees.Remove it from heat once it is sufficiently warmed.
STEP 2. Add the Vinegar : Pour the VINEGAR into the saucepan and stir the mixture slowly for 2-3 minutes. Cover the pan with a dishcloth and let the mixture rest for 20-30 minutes.
STEP 3. Strain the curd from the whey : Pour the mixture into a muslin cloth and let the whey drain for about 50-60 minutes and you'll get nice and beautiful Cottage Cheese ready
● Boooom your beautiful Cottage Cheese is ready.
Store in the refrigerator or serve immediately.
METHOD 2 : Use Lemon juice
STEP 1. Heat the Milk : Place the MILK in a saucepan and make sure it does not boil. Remove the milk from heat.
STEP 2. Add the Lemon juice : Take 1 tsp of LEMON JUICE and pour it into the warm MILK and stir it slowly for several minutes.
STEP 3. Let the mixture rest : Cover the saucepan with a muslin cloth and let the curds separate from the whey for about an hour.
STEP 4. Strain the curd from the whey : Place a piece of muslin cloth over a bowl and pour the curds and whey into the cheesecloth. Let the curds drain for about 50-60 minutes.then squeeze the cloth to get the curds as dry as possible.
● Boooom your beautiful Cottage Cheese is ready.
Store in the refrigerator or serve immediately.
