Vegan Hokey Pokey Candy


No one can say no to candies. So here's a new and healthy version of candies. It's made with healthy ingredients so there's no worry about putting extra calories. 

INGREDIENTS 


- 1 cup vegan sugar
- 4 tablespoons golden syrup (vegan)
- 2 teaspoons bicarbonate soda
- 3 tablespoons water 


METHOD 


1- First start by putting large parchment paper on a ceramic table and brush with oil.


2- Put the sugar, and the water into a saucepan( use a deep saucepan) on a medium heat and stir gently the mixture pushing the golden syrup with the sugar.

3- Let the pan on the heat and let it melt and come to boil and change the color ito something like maple syrup color or golden light brown!!


* watch the pan dont go away from it!*


* If you're using thermometer ( let it bubble until it reaches 149C on the sugar thermometer)*


4- When you're happy with the color remove from the heat and add the bicarbonate soda and stair the mixture well.


( be carful it will start bubbling and go crazy) 


5- Once you mixed well move the mixture on the parchment paper and let it set for about 20 minutes 


6- When done just bash at it and dip every piece in a melting chocolate and let it set and enjoy!
