How to make Mint Chutney | Pudina Chutney


Mint chutney is a spicy dip made from mint leaves. It is an extremely flavor condiment, and is served in small quantities. It is one of the most popular Indian chutneys around, as it can be served with almost any food.

Either it's a quick snack or a boring tofu you can twist it and make it even more exciting by this Mint Chutney/Pudina Chutney. It will go with anything. A Mint Chutney with grilled tofu and it will taste like a heaven. You can store it in a refrigerator for 1 week. This dish is must for your running life. Prepare my version of Mint Chutney at home and give twist to anything.

THINGS YOU'LL NEED

- Mint & Colander Leaves 
- Measuring cups & spoons 
- Blender 
- Bowl or Sterilized bottle, for storing 
- Spatula 

INGREDIENTS 


- Mint leaves/Pudina leaves 1 Cup
● Optionally: separated from stems
- Coriander leaves (Cilantro) 1 Cup
● Optionally: separated from stems
- Green Chillies 5-6 
- Pods of Garlic 7-8
- Cumin Seeds/Zeera 1 tsp
- Tamarind Paste 2 tsp
- Salt to Taste

METHOD 


STEP 1. Wash all the Greens in cold water.


STEP 2. Blend all the ingredients together in a blender. Blend until mixture has a smooth consistency


STEP 3. Pour the mixture in a bowl and your MINT CHUTNEY is ready to serve.

You can eat it with fried snacks,sandwiches,burger or anything of your choice.

STEP 4. Finished


                       Pro Tips


● This Chutney is versatile, it goes with everything from samosas to mashed potatoes; try it on whatever you like!

● Obtain the freshest Mint and Coriander available, as this will be the most flavorful.

● Refrigerated, Mint Chutney will keep for one week.

● Wash your hands immediately after handling the chili pepper.
